Several different ways to pay the rent
There are several different ways to pay the rent and you can choose the method you prefer. We encourage you to make an environmentally friendly choice and opt out of the paper invoice that otherwise comes in your mailbox. Instead, you can choose to pay by direct debit, e-invoice, or through the digital mailbox Kivra.
Direct Debit
Direct Debit is the easiest way to manage your rent payment. With direct debit, the money is automatically transferred from your bank account on the day the rent is due. Simple and convenient. The only thing you need to remember is to have enough funds in your account when the rent is due.
If you have accounts with Plusgirot's own accounts, Swedbank, Nordea, Handelsbanken, SEB, Länsförsäkringar Bank, ICA Banken, or Skandiabanken, you can request direct debit for your rent to Skebo.
E-invoice
An e-invoice means that you receive a rental bill sent as an electronic invoice to your internet bank. All payment information is filled in advance, such as the long OCR number with the due date, and you only need to approve the payment. You can choose to review the invoice details before approving the invoice.
You apply for an e-invoice through your Internet bank. In your internet bank, you can see which companies can offer e-invoice. Currently, you can get e-invoices from the following of our companies;
- Skelleftebostäder AB
- Skelleftebostäder Anderstorp AB
- Skelleftebostäder Getberget AB
- Skelleftebostäder Moröhöjden AB
- Skelleftebostäder Parkering AB
- Skelleftebostäder Sunnanå AB
Note that if you live in an area where you rent a parking space through our parking company Skelleftebostäder parkering AB (Skebo Parking), the application regarding the parking space needs to be made there.
Keep in mind that the holder of the apartment agreement and the Internet bank account must be the same person. By the 8th of the month, you should have registered in order for the next rent notification to be possible through an electronic invoice.
Kivra
If you want to receive and pay your invoices through the digital mailbox Kivra, you need to have or create an account at www.kivra.se. Once you are connected, the next rent invoice will automatically be sent to Kivra.
Being able to receive and pay your rent invoice digitally makes everyday life easier, gives you as a tenant a better overview of your invoices, and reduces paper mailings, which is good for the environment. In addition, Kivra is a user-friendly and secure solution.
Getting Kivra is free and only takes a few minutes. When we then send the rent invoices, you will receive an email that you have a new digital rent invoice to pay. To pay - connect a bank account, click "Pay", and authenticate yourself with BankID.
If you are connected to e-invoice or have chosen direct debit as the payment method and instead want to receive your rent invoice via Kivra, you must first cancel e-invoice/direct debit. If you are already a customer at Kivra, you will automatically receive the rent invoice there. If you are not connected to Kivra but still want to receive your invoice there, you need to log in to Kivra and change your settings. Contact Kivra if you need help.
Payment via Internet, mail, or bank
If you pay the rent via the Internet, it is important that you provide our Bankgiro number and the OCR number found on the payment slip. This is so we can identify that the payment is coming from you and which month the rent applies to. Note that each month's invoice has a specific OCR number.
If you pay the rent by mail or bank, you use the payment slip that came with your rent invoice. If you lose it and instead write your own payment slip, it is important that you write your name, your address, and your contract number. You also specify that the recipient is Skelleftebostäder and our Bankgiro number as shown on the invoice.
If you are missing your rent invoice
If you log in to My Pages and click on the tab "my rent invoices/bills," you can see and print your latest rent invoices. Here you will find details such as the amount and OCR number. You can also see a history from the last 12 months.
Payment from abroad
When making payments from abroad, you should provide your personal or organization number, as well as IBAN, BIC/Swift code, and recipient - all these details can be found on the invoice. Our bank is Swedbank.
It is important to pay the rent on time
As a tenant at Skebo, you pay your rent monthly and in advance. The due date is the last weekday before the start of each month. For example, the rent for February is paid at the end of January.
You will receive your rent invoice a week before the due date. Note that you are obligated to pay your rent regardless of whether you received an invoice or not. If, for any reason, the invoice has not arrived or you cannot find it when it's time to pay the rent, you can log in to My Pages to see your rent invoice with your OCR number, etc., or you can contact us and we will send a new one.
To avoid payment remarks, collection costs, and late fees, it is important to pay the rent on time. If you do not pay your rent at all or are repeatedly late with the payment, you may risk losing your housing.
We collaborate with Intrum Justitia for our debt management, and therefore we do not send reminders. Tenants who have not paid their rent on time will receive a debt collection notice from Intrum Justitia, which also includes collection costs and interest. If, for any reason, you cannot pay your rent on time, it is important to contact us as soon as possible. After the case is with Intrum, they handle all communication regarding the incurred debt.
