Skebo continues to invest in the popular area of Kåge with an exciting new housing project in Sörbyn. The area is centrally located, close to shops, healthcare center, and surrounded by nature – perfect for those seeking both convenience and scenic environment.

Phase 1

In Sörbyn phase 1, we are building a completely new residential area with a mix of apartment buildings with rental apartments and detached townhouses. In total, there will be 128 apartments, of which 108 are distributed across four five-story apartment buildings. Here, we offer mainly two-room and three-room apartments, but also a number of four-room options for those needing more space. Additionally, we are building 20 townhouses with five rooms and a kitchen, spread over two floors with a living area of 115 square meters – a perfect option for families looking to avoid large loans.
We plan to create a pleasant and green environment between the buildings in the area, with space for play, plantings, and social gatherings. All apartments will have balconies. The townhouses come with a designated parking space and are equipped with their own washing machine and dryer. For residents in the apartment buildings, there are shared laundry rooms.

Phase 2

Skebo is expanding in Kåge with an additional 40 new homes in phase 2. These homes will be built as townhouse rows in two floors and will be similar to the townhouses constructed in the first phase. Each home in phase 2 will have five rooms and a kitchen spanning about 110 square meters. Each home will also have a designated parking space equipped with both a charging station and an engine heater outlet.

The Community of Kåge

Kåge offers a wide range of services and amenities, including a grocery store, gas station, pharmacy, pizzeria, gym, healthcare center, public dental care, and elementary school (Kågeskolan). There is also Kågebadet, a heated outdoor swimming pool, and Kåge small boat harbor with facilities of Kåge boat club, located by the E4. Kåge is situated 13 kilometers north of the urban center of Skellefteå.

Project Timeline

The project's contractor is Contractor, and the houses in phase 1 are expected to be completed by the turn of 2025/2026. The construction start for phase 2 is planned for Q4 2024.
