Skebos styrelse har beslutat att avbryta upphandlingarna av fyra planerade byggprojekt: Volten, Astern, Nattkvarteret och Väverskan. Totalt handlar det om cirka 350 lägenheter och 420 studentbostäder. Beslutet grundas i att marknadsläget förändrats snabbt och att det i dagsläget finns en tillräcklig bostadsbuffert för att kunna avvakta med nyproduktion.

Skebo prisas återigen för sitt långsiktiga hållbarhetsarbete. VD Helena Markgren har av EU Business News utsetts till Sustainable Housing CEO of the Year 2025 (Sweden). Utmärkelsen visar på hela bostadsbolagets breda engagemang för klimat, ekonomi och socialt ansvar....

The annual tenant survey is now underway! We at Skebo want you to feel happy and feel that we listen to you. That's why your feedback is important for how we develop our housing and our service. This year Skebo celebrates its 60th anniversary as the municipality's housing company. During the anniversary year, we invite both tenants and residents of Skellefteå to various activities, competitions, and sustainability initiatives....

In the neighborhood of Frigg, one of Skebo's newer residential areas in the city center, a new artwork is currently taking shape. The artist behind the work is Pär Axelsson from Robertsfors. Skebo is participating in this summer's edition of the Wallstreet Art Festival, which will bring color to several locations in Skellefteå from June to August.

As a landlord, Skebo is often present in the tenants' daily lives. Through the initiative Dare to Care! employees have gained enhanced knowledge in recognizing signs of domestic violence and involuntary loneliness.

Skebo continues to build new homes in Skellefteå, but is also slowing down the pace. With a changing market situation, the housing company decides to complete ongoing projects but postpones decisions on some planned new constructions.

Did you know that if you live with Skebo, you can easily book both cars and bicycles directly in the residential area Frigg? During the spring, we invited to an open house where about 40 tenants had the opportunity to test how the services work...
